Personalised cupcakes, a flower wall and a case full of prosecco calls to be a good night. An excuse for us all to take out our phones and snap everything in sight to make it “Instagrammable”. Woke up this morning with the stench of prosecco, but hey… It was for an event worth celebrating. Let’s say it was for a good cause. Is that a good enough excuse?
If you haven’t heard of @theblish already, then it is time to get familiarising yourself as she is one to watch. Stylist and blogger Sean Blishen put on an event to launch her new clothing line, and it was a clothing line that will be seen in my wardrobe. Sean invited my friend and I to a launch in which her collection showcased style, versatility and only the best of the best. You would be surprised… Was actually drawn to something other than black *gasp*.
As I was glugging back the prosecco (trying to act classy), the event brought people from around Manchester to socialise as they shop. I mean, what better two things? Offering 20% off her new line, my bank card hasn’t had so much use. I like to think of her collection as a mix between H&M and Topshop. Pieces that are worth the spends and you don’t have to break your bank whilst treating yourself.
My favourite piece had to be the orange coat. Had my eyes on it from her posts, and seeing it in person made it even better. Might end up looking like a tangerine, but hopefully a stylish tangerine. Her website is soon to launch in December, so make sure to keep an eye out by following the brand on Instagram @byblish and let me know what you get buying!
Thanks to Sean for a fun event! Your style is as amazing as your tatts. Looking forward to the next event already and a I aim to even think about going gym to burn off the alcohol consumption and cupcakes, get following me on Instagram for more @jordy_ellen x
